Annalisa Pescatori has gained specific experience in corporate finance. In the course of her professional activity, she has acquired a consolidated expertise, particularly in corporate and financial law and corporate governance issues.
She has handled significant extraordinary transactions, both domestic and cross-border, for major financial institutions in the banking sector, for multinational groups and various private equity and venture capital funds business development transactions in foreign markets, and corporate reorganisations. She also advises listed companies on compliance and corporate governance matters on an ongoing basis.
She has extensive experience in handling extraordinary administration procedures and privatisation processes for major financial institutions.
She has also gained experience and knowledge of the banking sector in the course of her activity as in house from 1991 to 1996 at I.M.I. - Istituto Mobiliare Italiano S.p.A., Rome, serving (i) in the Finance and Equity Investments Department, Foreign Staff, where she mainly focused on the regulatory aspects of Japanese markets. To this end, she spent 8 months in Tokyo at the Industrial Bank of Japan (IBJ); (ii) in the Corporate Finance Department and in the Staff to the Deputy General Manager Finance, playing a pivotal role in overseeing important privatisation operations, since their inception in 1992.
She has served, and still serves, as an independent director for listed companies, banks and supervised financial intermediaries and has been, and still is, a member of endo-consiliar committees.
