POSITION SUMMARY
GRIMALDI ALLIANCE is seeking an attorney specializing in European Regulatory law, ideally with several years of professional experience (at least 3 years PQE) in general EU law, EU competition and State aid law. Additional experience in EU trade, energy, environmental and other areas of EU regulatory law would be an asset. THE EU BUSINESS LAW PRACTICE COVERS
The ideal candidate, in addition to having a perfect command of English – additional languages being an asset –, should have experience in the following areas:

- General EU law (the fundamental freedoms of the internal market, EU institutional framework, legislative process, etc.)
- EU competition and (possibly, but not necessarily) State aid law;
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
       - EU trade (including sanctions) law;
       - Anti-dumping;
       - EU judicial law;
       - Energy law / Environmental law;
       - Banking regulation and financial market Law.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent academic credentials from University, a LLM is a plus;

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
You will part of the EU Law Team in supporting private and public clients worldwide. The EU Law Team, inter alia, regularly assists EU Institutions and Agencies in shaping future European legislation as well as in the proper implementation of existing European regulations, at national level in all 27 MSs. Your main duties will be:

- Drafting legal opinions in different fields of EU Law;
- Drafting projects for the EU Institutions, mainly the EC;
